Ngarino and the Whiteboard Table

Ngarino loves to write her spelling words and words she knows on the whiteboard table.

A morning of learning.

Here is Ngarino reading the story "Baby Owl" to me. I love how she is pointing to the words as she reads. She now knows a number of basic words such as; the, I and to.

When I came into class this morning, Ngarino had already finished her word works and alphabet sheet and practised writing words on her whiteboard table.

Easter Bunnies

Ngarino created an Easter bunny using patterns. She added whiskers and glasses.

Word works

This morning I wrote each of my letters on my word works card.  I tried each of my letter sounds too.  I enjoyed doing this activity and sharing my good work with my class, Mrs Tatum and her class too.

I was a little shy when sharing my news with room 4 but I did it!
