Mail box maths.

Last week we went for a walk around Ohaeawai. We looked at numbers and counted lots of numbers and we put flyers into the mail boxes.
We used maths equations with the numbers that we saw on the mail boxes.
We walked around town and put flyers in the mail boxes. It was perfect, cool and awesome.

We have been learning about Earthquakes in class. Today I read a story about an earthquake.

The Earth Layers

We made an Earth from clay and cut it in half.
Today we painted the layers with red, orange, yellow and silver.

Chalk Maths

It was a sunny day yesterday, so we did some maths outside. We are learning to add double digit numbers together by adding the ones together and then the tens.

Today we read a story called Are you a Ladybird? Ladybird's have a red shell and black spots.

Maths time!

Today I was learning to do maths. I think that this was too easy! Tomorrow we will work on harder questions.

The Apple Tree

We read a book about apple trees. l love apples.
Some of the words in the book were hard, but we sounded them out.
I liked the book about apples, it was awesome.

We also went out and saw an apple tree and I got my photo taken with the apple tree. The leaves on the apple tree at school are green.
